Our two directors, Adri de Bruyn and Elzanne Kemp, met each other at Stellenbosch University. Both Adri and Elzanne went on to work at Steyn Coetzee in Paarl, where Adri also served as a Director. In 2017, Adri and Elzanne joined their capabilities to start a new firm, Kemp de Bruyn Inc.
Adri grew up in Riversdale. She studied at Stellenbosch University and completed her LLB degree in 2007. She was admitted as an attorney and notary in 2010, and qualified as a mediator in 2016. Adri is a registered debt counsellor and specialises in the National Credit Act.
Elzanne grew up in George and completed her studies at Stellenbosch University. In 2006 she completed her Bcomm degree and in 2008 she completed her LLB degree. In 2012 Elzanne was admitted as an attorney and she was registered as a debt counsellor in 2017.
Rumbi grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to Cape Town when she was sixteen years old. She completed her LLB degree in 2014 at the University of South Africa. In 2015 she attended the School for Practical Legal Training, as presented by the University of Cape Town. Rumbi was admitted as an attorney in 2016, and qualified as a mediator in 2017. Her legal area of interest resides in Family Law, Civil Litigation, Property Law and Mediation / Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Mzikayise grew up in Wellington and underwent his schooling at Paarl Boys High School. He further went on to read for his LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape and completed his studies in 2015. Mzikayise went on to serve his articles at Kemp and Associates Inc. in Durbanville, which he completed in April 2018. His legal area of interest resides in Criminal Law, Debt Review, Insolvency Law, Contracts and Wills & Estates.
Amy Diedericks grew up in Paarl. She completed her LLB Degree at the University of the Western Cape in 2017, where she is currently pursuing her LLM Degree part-time. Amy currently serves as a Candidate Attorney and her legal area of interest resides in Labour/Employment Law, Wills and Estates, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Property Law.
